This year, Puma is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Clyde. NYC based Alife is jumping in on the celebration, creating an edition of the silhouette. Alife’s take on the silhouette, sees it rocking an argyle print in a black and white colorway over its suede upper. Detailing on the design includes toe bumper reinforcement and Alife branding on the heel and insole.
To find the kicks, go to alifenewyork.com at 10AM on Thursday, the 5th of April for $100. In-shop at Alife in NYC (158 Rivington St. New York, NY 10002), the kicks will drop at noon on the release date.
adidas Consortium’s is connecting Paris based Starcow and New York City based Alife for its latest installment of its Sneaker Exchange series. The two shops worked together to create editions of the Stan Smith and Gazelle with each silhouette sporting the USA and French flags. The kicks will debut at Starcow and Alife on Thursday, the 20th of July. A wider Consortium release through other shops will follow. Stay with us for updates.
Alife is starting 2017 with Reebok, adding its touch to the Phase 1 Pro. The NYC based shop has produced the sneaker in black, grey and white colorways in leather builds on gum soles. The kicks represent ALIFE with NY on both right and left heel with the shop’s logo on the forefoot area. The blue accented trio will release at select shops and in the UK, they are END exclusive. END has yet to announce a release date.
ALIFE’s latest collaboration with Puma is an edition of the States. The NYC based label has fitted the silhouette in a defining crackled black leather upper with gold branding on the side panel and heel. The kicks are making the rounds at shops and can be found in the USA at Feature Boutique.
The Alife x Puma spring 2016 collection released a low top edition of the States in February that featured a scarlet snake pattern. The range is now ready for a follow-up with States Mid in a shaggy black suede style with the scarlet snake pattern placed on the stripe. Puma’s state-of-the-art evoSPEED football boot is getting the collabo treatment from four global figures in the medium of design.
NYC based KITH has has dressed the sneaker in dark blue and red with a fish scale print. Paris based Colette has given the boot a look fit for the France national team in a blue fade upper with red accents. For its boot, BAPE has dressed it with its signature camo print. ALIFE‘s entry to the range is set apart from the rest from its full logo print upper.
Each boot will run you 250 Euros with availability through through collaborative partners respective retail spaces and select Puma Football dealers. A release is set for June, check each shop for details.
