adidas Originals’ City Sock 2 is aimed at comfort with its slip-on upper that is made to hug the foot with a Primeknit upper. The comfort focus continues with the BOOST cushion system. The latest colorway of the sneaker is dressed in a black and carbon grey upper with red and blue on the inner side of the sneaker.

adidas is set to release a series of kicks under the Sashiko banner in the very near future. Included in the mix is this pattered take on the NMD City Sock 2. Dressed in black/white, the sneaker is bold yet neutral. A release date has been set for the 17th of August through adidas.com and select adidas Originals dealers.
In March, Japanese imprint United Arrows & Sons placed its stamp on the adidas NMD City Sock. Following up, United Arrows is getting ready to release its own edition of the NMD City Sock 2. adidas Originals’ latest take on the NMD CS2 is accented with a subtle dose of shock pink. The popping tone is placed on the inner side of colorways, one in that is core black/white and the other in grey. Primeknit built and standing on BOOST cushions, the duo are set for a Saturday, the 20th of May release through shops that include Solebox.
After debuting as part of the adidas Consortium’s Sneaker Exchange collection with NAKED and KITH, the NMD CS2 is set to release as the Ronin Pack.
A bold evolution of the original model’s sock-fit construction, the NMD_CS2 features a single-piece wraparound Primeknit upper with a woven stripe motif, accented with embroidered vamp details. The signature NMD midsole is then refined with a sharper profile and deconstructed EVA insert on the medial side and engraved details on the lateral side. Rendered in Collegiate Navy and finished with a contrast collar and signature tape heel pull, the release culminates as a pure expression of the power of NMD minimalism, stripping contemporary footwear design to its absolute core.
The 6th of April is the global release date.
After posting preview images and the Lookbook, we get a detailed look at the NAKED x KITH entry to the adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange series. The subject of the collaboration is the NMD City Sock 2, a silhouette that up until now has never released. Built on the second version of the NMD BOOST sole, the sneaker has a wrapped Primknit build unlike the first City Sock, which had a continuous woven upper. With NAKED on the heel, one of the designs features a pink based construction. The second pair bears KITH on the heel in a sandstone beige Primeknit threading on a gum sole.
After launching in NYC and Copenhagen last week, the duo are set to hit Consortium dealers on Saturday, the 11th of March. Packer Shoes will carry the release with an online release set for Friday night at midnight EST.
