The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Black is perhaps the cleanest and most subtle look for this classic of Swoosh running tech.
The Spiridon’s reputation might be more known as the retro runner that almost took over 2016. But, it’s history goes a bit deeper. For instance, it’s the first runner that introduced Nike’s Zoom cushion tech back when runners were still operating on beds of foam.
Its name comes from Spiridon Lewis, winner of the Olympic Marathon back in 1986 – the year the event debuted!
Here, we see the shoe take on a crisp tonal scheme. To say that All Black shoes are quite popular seems like quite the understatement, frankly. For the Spiridon, that seems to ring particularly true. Save for accents of Wolf Grey here and there, this is a completely monochromatic look.
What’s more, it’s done sharply!
