The archive of unreleased kicks and colorways at Nike are catching first light this year. While, we all know the original “Grape” colorway of the Air Jordan 5 Retro, Tinker Hatfield that drop almost never happened.
Originally, this is the color blocking that Nike created for the sneaker, a dark blue base with turquoise accents. The unreleased colorway is now making its debut 25 years latter. The colorways origins is with the Charlotte Hornets, which Michael Jordan is the current owner.
Remastered in a leather build, the kicks are set to launch on Saturday, the 2nd of May through Nike.com at 8AM GMT / 9AM CET.
You will also be able to find the sneaker at independent Jordan Brand dealers on both sides of the Atlantic like Philly based UBIQ.
