Just a week after the Jordan MVP surfaced in the “UNC” colorway, the Jordan Brand has revealed an official look at the hybrid silhouette in “Cardinal.” The hybrid shoe takes design notes from the Air Jordan 6, 7 and 8, celebrating the first time Michael Jordan achieved a three-peat championship win between 1991 to 1993.

The shoe comes dressed in a white, cardinal red, vivid orange and black color scheme, giving a nod to the Air Jordan 7 “Cardinal” released in 2022. The upper is constructed in clean, white leather throughout, with perforations for added breathability. Red and orange tints highlight the Jumpman logo, inner lining, tongue, heel tabs and parts of the midsole. The design notes taken from the three different Air Jordan models are seen on the tongues, TPU paint strokes, midsoles and icy translucent outsole. The shoe sits atop a white and red rubber outsole featuring an orange Jumpman on the underfoot to round out the design.

Look out for the Jordan MVP “Cardinal” arriving at select retailers and online at Nike for $160 USD later this year.
