British designer Craig Green has a history of reimagining adidas models to align with his distinctive aesthetic, transforming iconic silhouettes with his unique interpretation of uniforms and anatomical forms.

Presenting four new sneaker styles, Green continues this tradition. Unveiling the Phormar I and Phormar II models, the designer and sportswear stalwarts encapsulate an unconventional approach to modern design.

Thick rope details around the collar act as supportive tendons across each of the models, while translucent uppers reveal the German brand’s iconic three stripes to the side wall of the Phormar I sneaker. The trio of Phormar II sneakers feature opaque uppers in leather and synthetic fabric respectively, while each style is fitted with a boost™-cushioned sole plucked from the ZX 2K Boost. Complete with toggles to the laces for a secure fit and a further injection of utilitarianism, the Phormar sneakers perfectly embody Craig Green’s sensibility and adidas’ dedication to future-facing collaborative projects.
