Back in 1991, Nike debuted the Air Huarache, a lightweight runner inspired by form-fitting neoprene water-skiing boots, and used some bold, vibrant colourways to show off the distinctive build. And while the colourway used across this pair may look like one of the ’91 OGs, it’s actually entirely new.
A white base is joined by an eye-catching purple and bright mango neoprene sock, but everything else remains unchanged, including the supportive cage around the ankle and the Air-cushioned sole.
The Nike Air Huarache OG “Mango” will release in late May. The sneaker is currently listed on the END Launches platform for £105. The END Launches draw to purchase the kicks will end on the 21st of May at 00:00 BST.
