Part of the adidas ’82 City Series, which aims to capture the intricacies of locations around the world through a selection of unique silhouettes, the fan favourite Hamburg returns once again bringing with it both a selection of the brand’s classic design ques and plenty of subtle nods to its German namesake.
Keeping its heritage profile sleek and low, the Hamburg sits perfectly amongst adidas’ plentiful terrace lineup, employing a white coating and plush leather to its uppers for a minimal aesthetic. Featuring signature embellishments such as a t-toe overlay and trefoil tongue, the sneakers boast a fish scale effect to the heel and three stripe moniker, an addition that not only adds visual depth and texture but pays homage to Hamburg’s famous Sunday fish market.
Further enhanced with a vintage inspired gum sole and distinct branding to the insole, the trainers are finished with a metal emblem to the rear, encapsulating the cities flag insignia.
The fish market themed adidas Hamburg is now live at shops like UK based Aphrodite.
