Following his custom Jack Daniel’s Air Jordan 4, sneaker customizer, The Shoe Surgeon is again adding branded flavor to Jordan sneakers. This time, the flavor is Twix and the Air Jordan 1. The promo-piece is inspired by the new Cookies & Creme flavor of the chocolate bar.
…a limited run of custom-made sneakers inspired by the new TWIX Cookies & Creme. Chocolate cookie bars, a soft-creme center packed with crunchy cookie bits, all covered in creamy milk chocolate: these features are reflected in the shoe, which enlists a “tearaway” element.
An outer layer of corduroy fabric mimics the bright blue wrapper and can be cut or torn away to reveal the design beneath.
Underneath is a combination of smooth white patent leather, representative of the creme center, and black and white stingray leather, channeling crunchy cookie bits.
TWIX gold is featured in design accents throughout the shoe and transparent, ice blue soles feature Left TWIX and Right TWIX on the corresponding shoe.
The Shoe Surgeon has created 100 pairs of the design, and they are all being given away.
On the 6th of February, the sneaker will be given away at Extra Butter (125 Orchard St) in NYC from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
@twix will announce an online giveaway next week.
An unnamed shop in Chicago will then hold a give-away during the NBA All-Star Weekend.
