Nike Sportswear is going with an Olympic trifecta for its latest set of Air Force 1 drops. The kicks are rocking leather uppers that are glossy with a chrome-like reflection quality in a choice of bronze, silver or gold.

Even for a decades-old classic, there’s always room for innovation. Originally debuting in 1982, the Air Force 1, long known for both clean cut and experimental colorways, is receiving a first: the liquid metal finish. The iconic silhouette looks like it’s been carefully dipped in melted bronze, giving the leather upper a teflon-like quality. Reflecting light with every step, these AF1’s shimmer and shine during day or night. Matching inner lining and laces keeps the color-blocking consistent, while an all-white midsole sets the platform for a prized sneaker that could live in a trophy cabinet. With the way these new AF1’s beam, however, you’ll want to take them off the mantle and into the streets.

Sitting the on white soles, the trio are releasing this month. The bronze entry to the collection is currently online on nike.com US for $150.

The gold and silver colorways will then drop on the 13th of December on nike.com Politics is also an option to find the kicks.
