November 04, 2019 – Multi-award winning South African illustrator and street artist Karabo Poppy drew inspiration from her local roots to create the art and color palette for the latest in Nike Air Force 1 Low By You.
The various colorways are inspired by traditional African beaded bracelets with vibrant palettes that include red, orange, green and purple. Poppy also drew design inspiration from barber and beauty salon posters that line the streets in South Africa.
