size? has created a colorful edition of the sneaker inspired by the color profile at corner shop’s in the UK during the 1980s.

At the heart of every small British community lies the local corner shop – a convenient place to stock up on your weekly necessities. Throughout the ’80s, vibrant packaging and signage lined the shelves and plastered the windows of shops across the nation. Brand names were splashed across products in bold, brash typefaces.
The size? Exclusive New Balance 990v5 draws inspiration from the colours found in these corner shops, selecting a palette of blue, yellow and pink and applying them to the latest rendition of the celebrated runner.The upper of the 990v5 is comprised of the traditional combination of high-quality suede and strong, yet fully breathable mesh. Royal blue suede panels cover the outer layer of materials, while yellow mesh and pink perforated nubuck sit underneath. Reflective hits can be found on the toe, heel counter and bold ‘N’ side branding.
We’re fortunate enough to be among a very small handful of retailers to be given their own exclusive take on the shoe this year, and as they’re limited to just 500 pairs, they won’t be sitting around for long.
