After the eye-catching exotic materials and visible air unit used on its predecessor, the Air Jordan IV’s design took it a step further with even more visible technology. Its mesh panels, supportive wings and reengineered lace locks introduced new standards of comfort and lockdown to the signature. Still, despite its basketball performance roots, the shoe still resonates just as much for its off-court style, if not more. Continuing to celebrate the AJ IV’s 30th anniversary, the latest colorway arrives in Black/University Red-Court Purple with a subtle nod to the 6 and the home team’s Global Ambassador, Drake.

Headed by Kawhi Leonard on the court and Drake on the sidelines, the Toronto Raptors are making a strong push for their first NBA Championship.

Jordan Brand is there for the Raptors with a team edition of the Air Jordan 4. Dressed in Raptors’ colors, the sneaker’s design is topped off with Drake’s signature on the tongue.

The sneaker originally dropped last year (without Drake’s signature) but Jordan Brand just hit SNKRS in North America with limited release of the Drake x Air Jordan 4 “Toronto Raptors” that is now listed as sold out.
