Hiroshi Fujiwara’s label fragment design has connected with Dr. Martens to release an elegant all-black shoe in a patent leather construction.

Brit subculture staple meets Japanese streetstyle master in this Dr. Martens x Fragment collaboration. Fragment designer Hiroshi Fujiwara takes his favourite Doc – style 1461 – and gives it a slick patent update. Crafting the old classic out of sleek, shiny jet black leather, Fujiwara swaps out the typical contrasting yellow stitching for tonal black and switches up the usually brown sole to pure black.
Eyelets are lifted high up the front of the shoe for a neat, tight look, while the Fragment logo is subtly debossed into a freshly-conceived extra panel at the heel.
