Embodying LeBron’s defiant mentality, his latest silhouette draws inspiration from the rebellious spirit of one of Nike’s boldest silhouettes. With the iconic splatter pattern hits at the heel, top label on the tongue and perforated leather along the upper, the LeBron 16 ‘Hot Lava’ presents a modernized take on the classic shoe.
With the Roland Garros (French Open) tipping off this week, Nike Basketball is dropping tennis shoe inspired editions of the LeBron 16. The design is based on the Hot Lava colorway of Andre Agassi’s Air Tech Challenge II. Agassi actually made it to the Roland Garros finals twice early in his career before taking the crown in 1999.
The LeBron 16 take on the Hot Lava colorway comes both in white and black editions.
A release for both sneakers is currently listed on Nike.com US SNKRS for a 24th of May release at a $200 price tag.
