The Epic React Flyknit 2 encapsulates Nike current technological capabilities with its responsive React cushion system and its dynamic Flyknit textile upper. For the sneaker’s latest release, Nike is connecting the contemporary silhouette with Nike’s first sneaker, the Cortez.
Nike does this through the use of a white, blue and red color formation that evokes the Cortez’s classic “Forrest Gump” look. The heel tab aids in the theme, reading Blue Ribbon Sports Track Club, a nod to the company’s original name.
The Nike Epic React Flyknit 2 in white, university red and racer blue will launch on the 23rd of May at shops that include 43einhalb.
