In February, adidas Consortium debuted the ZX 4000 4D. Then in April, adidas pulled out the Carbon colorway of the sneaker.

The sneaker is a contemporary addition to adidas’ famed ZX line that features a modern upper style in a mostly mesh construction with suede, leather and taped support overlays. Of course, the focal point of the design is its 4D cushion system that is created using a 3D print method that incorporates light and oxygen to mold programmable liquid resins. The end result is a finally tuned cushion support system with a distinct look.

adidas is now ready to drop the third edition of the ZX 4000 4D. The latest edition of the sneaker is listed as core black/onix/footwear white. Adding pop to the neutral base color, adidas adds fluorescent read and teal on the tongue.

The sneaker will launch on the 25th of May at shops that include 43einhalb.
