Tom Sachs’ Nike Mars Yard Overshoe is launching in Europe on Thursday, the 9th of May on Nike.com.
The sneaker is a design evolution of the Nike Mars Yard 2.0, built for what Sachs describes as “worst months of the year”. That would be late winter due to its weather that too often results in cold and wet fit.
Nike and Sachs build over the Mars Yard 2.0 with…
…a nylon reinforced Dyneema upper helps keep out the elements, while a cord toggle allows you to loosen the upper and wear it down when indoors. Fidlock magnetic Ladderlock buckles allow for additional lockdown. Down below, the outsole features a sticky rubber with a new tread pattern that ensures optimal traction in harsh conditions.
The kicks are listed at £389.95/450 € to release at 01:00 on the 9th of May on Nike’s SNEAKERS app.
