Today, ASICS has unveiled the GEL-KAYANO® 5 360 model, a hybrid shoe combining the iconic upper from the GEL-KAYANO 5 OG shoe with the advanced sole of the GEL-QUANTUM 360TM model.
Re-released in 2018 ahead of the shoe’s 20th anniversary, the GEL-KAYANO 5 OG model was the ‘dad shoe’ of the year thanks to the 90s upper and its chunky aesthetics. The GEL-KAYANO 5 OG has proven to be immensely popular with sneaker heads.
With the GEL-KAYANO 5 360 model, the stylish, retro vibes of the GEL-KAYANO 5 shoe’s mesh and synthetic leather upper are supported with 360° of GEL® brand technology which provides excellent shock absorption and durability and makes the GEL-QUANTUM 360 model one of the most comfortable sport style shoes on the market. The fusion of this functionality and style has produced a fashion-forward, statement trainer that is ready for Spring 2019.
The GEL-KAYANO® 5 360 model will release on May 2 and will include the OG colorway, as well as triple white and triple black.
