Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama is known for his use of robots in his work. Luxury label Dior has recruited Sorayama to lend that aesthetic to a pair of its B23 high-top sneaker.

The sneaker is set in Dior Oblique technical canvas, which is covered in a floral robot dinosaur print. To keep the focus on the artwork, the sneaker’s overlays are translucent polyurethane.

The kicks are part of the Dior Pre-Fall 2019 range and just launched through dior.com. And despite its $1,050 price tag, almost every size is listed as sold out.
