Today, the Chicago White Sox step on the field in team black, grey and white colors. However, in the past the team suited up in white, red and dark blue. As part of its Major League Baseball themed City Pride collection, the retro team colors are applied to the Blazer Mid.

As spring training ends with summer right around the corner, that means one thing—baseball is back. Paying homage to the city of Chicago, this special-edition Blazer Mid ’77 colorway takes inspiration from old school uniforms. The green sockliner represents the under bill of baseball caps, and the baseball-esque stitching on the tongue delivers a striking finish.

Nike.com US has the sneaker scheduled to drop on the 3rd of May.
