For the fourth quarter, Jordan Brand is angling for the return of the black and red “banned” colorway of the Air Jordan 1. The famed colorway that provoked NBA fines is a constant source of inspiration for Jordan Brand with the label dropping remixed material applications of the sneaker and the “Nike Air” branded Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG.
For the 2019 release, Jordan Brand is looking to drop a faithful reissue of the original as the Air Jordan 1 High OG 85. Early reports indicate that the design will recreate the original by using its higher ankle cut, leather application and design dimensions.
