Menswear designer Todd Snyder has just added a casual look to the New Balance 990v3 for the spring/summer 2019 season. The sneaker is inspired by beer and like cold beer, the colorway pairs well with summer heat.

The look takes form in a beige base that covers its layers suede and mesh. Tan detailing is then applied to the leather overlays to complete the beer tone palette. The color profile also includes grey detailing that appears on the heel and outsole.

The made in USA kicks are now available on

Meet the 990 Dark Ale. The new, summer blend that embodies both Todd Snyder’s New York sensibility and his Mid-Western dedication to quality craftsmanship. Inspired by the caramel-colored 990 Pale Ale and dark complexion of the brew itself, this season’s spirit is just as smooth — a fresh, new drop of our crowd-pleaser.

Made in the USA and crafted with vegetable tanned leather, these running shoes age well. The chemical-free tanning process produces a natural patina that deepens with natural hues as time passes. Crafted with buttery beige suede and micro-mesh fabric, this running shoe is a perfect union of modern innovation and the traditions of classic cobbling. Lightweight and practical, the design also incorporates a carbon fiber spring plate and innovative Encap technology for unrivaled bounce, support, and cushion. The Todd Snyder nod to timeless good taste? That’s on the house. Bottom’s Up!
