Taking a look at the FILA Disruptor CB Low, it’s not hard to see the larger appeal. Even before the sneaker world went crazy for the chunky designs, there’s plenty to love here. More than anything, FILA’s flagship nostalgic design takes us back to a bolder time in footwear design.
Sneakers used to be about showing off the biggest and baddest new tech. Often times, we’d even see major brands make a shoe just look bigger, even if it didn’t have much to show in terms of tech. The FILA Disruptor CB Low is at the very least a comfortable alternative to a lot of the overpriced chunky models on the market at the moment.
The leather upper is cozy and even comes with some stitch details that give it an authentic visual finish. The adoption of the Navy and FILA Red is yet another vintage detail. Underfoot, that chunky outsole is all business.
