The adidas Dimension Low in Black/ Purple is a blast from the past for a very particular crowd. It’s listed as a running sneaker, but it’s got vibes that transcend that a bit.

For those of you who are old enough to remember the exercise video craze of the 80s and 90s, this shoe will speak to you. It’s got the tech and build of a runner, but the aesthetic goes beyond that. Remember those folks selling their workout videos? The ones whose infomercials you would work out with because the actual tapes were too expensive?

Well, these Dimension Lows are heavy on that aesthetic. Beyond that, this is just an underrated look. It sits comfortably in today’s more flexible adoption of bulky footwear.

The upper is in a combination of leather, mesh, and synthetic elements, finishing in a 90s style layering. Torsion system along the midfoot helps with stability while a neoprene sock liner keeps you nice and snug with each step.
