Nike Sportswear describes the Moon Racer as combining “Heritage Style” and “Modern Comfort”.
True to the tagline, the fusion silhouette uses Nike’s React cushion system that promises a smooth comfortable ride. As for heritage, the upper takes its design cues from the 1972 Moon Racer, pieced together in mesh with suede and leather overlays.
The sneaker is dropping on the 1st of March at shops like Melbourne based Up There. Two colorways will be available, one in “Yellow Ochre/Sail/Gym Blue” the other in “Mountain Blue/Midnight Navy/Sail/Team Orange”. Both sneakers feature insoles with Moon surface prints.
Nike.com in Europe will also have the sneaker when it drops.
