Coinciding with the 2019 NBA All-Star Game, Nike Basketball just released the King’s Throne edition of the LeBron 16. Based on a special edition of the LeBron 9, the silhouette released in the US on the Nike SNKRS platform for $200. Currently, eBay resellers are asking $300 to $350 for the sneaker.
Created with the same level of considered detailing implemented on the OG LeBron 9, the LeBron 16 ‘King’s Throne’ highlights one of the rarest friends and family pairs ever made. Luxury and opulence inspire the new shoe’s gilded detailing, including a reimagined lace lock inspired by artist Gabriel Urist’s original 2012 design. Extravagant patterns also return on the laces and lining as a nod to the kicks created to commemorate the intersection between hip-hop and sport.
