Milan based Slam Jam has teamed with Nike to offer a fresh take on the Blazer Mid. The design is crisp in sail white with black detailing. The classic design and color application is given a fresh spin through its mixed construction that places leather on the inner side of the shoe and canvas on the outer side. Slam Jam further flips the classic by flipping the Swoosh on the inner side. The look is complete with “Class” and “1977” on the heels.

The sneaker will release on the 22nd of February through Nike’s SNEAKERS app and select shops.

Named after Portland’s basketball team when it joined the league, the Blazer became an instant classic on and off the court when it debuted in 1972. The iconic silhouette arrives with mixed materials of canvas, leather and suede giving a nod to the slash generation’s multi-disciplinary culture, and the union of Milan and New York.
