As of late, New Balance has been doing some interesting things with the 997 through its revised 997 Sport and 997H. The reissue edition of the original is also on the move with this made in the USA colorway.
The release is defined by earthy color mix that mostly relies on layers of black and olive green. However a lighter green tone and teal add to the color variety on the upper and sole.
The construction looks sturdy in layers of suede with leather detailing and a textile toe box. Competing the build is a unique use of a woven material on the heel.
