As part of Puma’s Co.Creative series, the label has just connected with designer David Obadia to create a four piece collection of sneakers.
Obadia seeks to create pieces that are defined by “simplicity, creativity and spontaneity”. Through that lens, the designer seeks to recreate the Puma RS-1 and Crack with a mid-century modern design aesthetic.
The RS-1 portion of the collection is built in layers of suede and “vinatge-like” nylon. The 1985 era runner comes in a choice of cordovan/Puma white or glacier grey/Inca gold.
The Crack comes fitted in a corduroy like texture in a choice of cordovan or Inca gold.
The collection will launch on the 12th of February at shops that include Aberdeen based Hanon.
