Colette
213, rue Saint-Honore
Paris 75001 France

If you can only visit one sneaker shop while in Paris there is really only one option, Colette. But Colette is not only a sneaker shop; it is a shrine of sorts to urban culture. Established in March 1997, the shop has become a world icon for the initiated. Upon first coming upon the Shop it may not be apparent that it is in fact Colette, there is no sign. However you can easily tell its Colette by the two large circles and two large windows on the ground floor.

Upon entry you will note that that the 700+ square meter space is spread across three levels. Inside you will find rare and unique books, CD’s, DVD’s along with jewelry and fashion accessories.

One floor up you will find its world-renowned collection of exclusive clothing, which its staff brings in from the global fashion hubs of New York, Paris, London and Milan. Be sure to ask the staff to see items in stock but not on display to find hidden gems. Also on this floor you will find the sneaker section with a supply of ultra-limited Colette exclusives, along with other sneaker rarities.

Each month Colette exhibits art from a range of different mediums from photography, graffiti, graphic arts, and more. The artists’ works on display are from known artists along with up-and-comers.
